I’m in France and I’m writing about it. But I didn’t want to write the sort of blog where my every movement is recounted in painstaking detail. So, I’m incorporating Les Essais de Montaigne as inspiration for my own observations. There are 107 essays, and if I write regularly every other day as I intend to do then that should take me just about to the end of my stay in France.
